The Woke List was an idea brewing for a while. It seemed interesting. Since the pandemic, crazy pressed its lead foot down just a little bit more on the accelerator.
The Woke List isn’t really about calling out corporations or people in order to cancel or boycott, or in fact to take any action; positive or negative. It’s simple documentation. And this documentation is solely based on some amount of research.
Woke simply means a company has sought to pander to ideology rather than focusing on its product. Bud Light might have been the catalyst to launch this idea but it really was the last pebble that broke the damn.
The hundreds of other pebbles that slowly popped out were things like men competing in women’s sports and sporting franchises becoming woke instead of standing strong and siding with common sense and fairness.
The erosion of womanhood. The erosion of science – what one assumed would be the bastion of truth. In stead, businesses, politicians, scientists, and other groups, abuse the truth.
The Woke List is just a compilation of brands and corporations that have leapt on the bandwagon of ideology heading full speed toward crazy town.
So, if you see a brand or personality, the goal was to simply and plainly point out that they were woke and to give you examples. You might even see news and videos from sources you don’t agree with.
That’s how objectivity works. The Woke List does not encourage negative or positive action. The only thing it offers is information. Be informed.
